"You've Been Stop-Lossed" Those words invoke a helpless, sinking feeling. You have done your duty and expect that the military will uphold their end of the contract just as you have. This continues to happen at an alarming rate, just as was happening when I managed to leave the Army four years ago after my contract was up. I was happy to do my duty, but when all was said and done I was ready to get out and get on with my life. Being that this is an MTV Film, there will more than likely be a liberal spin on the war itself which I dont necessarily agree with, but nevertheless the message of how the military continues to take advantage of those who have served honorably is one that should be paid attention to.

I saw Stop Loss today and it was really good. There were some technical mistakes (such as PFC's calling SGT's "sir" and a USMC flag with an Army regiment on parade) but overall I think it was a very accurate and interesting portrayal of Iraq War veterans.
