This Has to be a Joke

I was surfing past Speaker of the House Nanci Pelosi's site and stumbled across this BS. I thought to myself that surely this is a joke. Hasn't the Republican party and President Bush repeatedly asked the DEMOCRATICALLY controlled congress to open up more drilling?

The Law of Supply and Demand hasn't changed and for the Left-wing liberals to continue to bring up the fact that "speculators" are driving up the cost of oil, that oil companies should be taxed for their increased profits and that Bush and Cheney have "so much" to gain from increased fuel costs is an attempt to misdirect us from the real issues.

What is taxing oil companies going to do for me? Absolutely nothing.

Bush and Cheney could care less what happens with the cost of oil, they are wealthy enough with or without oil prices being this high...

Does the left really think that we are this stupid?
